Cryptocurrency trade organization submits bill to Supreme Court in support of Custodia

According to CoinMeta, a crypto trade organization has submitted a bill to the Supreme Court in support of the petition for Custodia, urging the court to review whether regional federal reserve banks have the authority to deny qualified state-chartered banks access to their main accounts. The organization warns that rulings by lower courts in favor of the Federal Reserve, granting central banks broad powers, could lead to "denial of banking services to unpopular industries or companies" and effectively veto which state-chartered banks are allowed to operate. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City has been granted an extension until September 11 to respond to the petition for Custodia.
