According to CoinMeta, Hawaii, USA, will completely ban the holding, operation, and management of cryptocurrency ATM and digital asset trading terminals starting from October 1st, becoming the fourth state to implement such a comprehensive ban after Minnesota, Tennessee, and Indiana. The state cited FBI data stating that in 2025, Hawaiian residents submitted 826 complaints related to cryptocurrencies, involving losses of approximately 80 million US dollars. As of now, there are still about 57 crypto ATM and terminals in operation locally.
