According to CoinMeta, a shareholder of the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) named Rosherville Pty Ltd intends to apply to the federal court for permission to sue certain former directors and executives on behalf of ASX, accusing them of misconduct in the failed blockchain clearing and settlement system (Chess) renovation project. The project was launched in 2016, underwent multiple delays, and was suspended in 2022. Subsequently, the blockchain solution (ASX) was abandoned. In June of this year, they admitted to misleading the market regarding the progress of the project, and in July, they were fined $14.4 million by the court.
