According to CoinMeta, code review company CodeRabbit completed a $143 million Series C financing round, raising its valuation to $1.5 billion. This financing was led jointly by ATOM and Smash Capital, with participation from BMW i Ventures, Datadog, and others. Less than a year ago, CodeRabbit had just completed a $60 million Series B financing round. The company specializes in examining the code written by programmers and coding agent to identify security vulnerabilities and maintenance risks. As more and more code is written by AI, code review has also become a big business. Currently, CodeRabbit reviews over 2 million lines of code per week, serving more than 17,000 clients. The company also plans to enter Asian markets such as Japan.
