Circle Launches Bitcoin-Encapsulated Asset cirbtc with a Circulation of Only Approximately 40 Units

According to CoinMeta, since the Bitcoin-encapsulated asset cirbtc launched by Circle went live on Ethereum on June 8th, its current circulation is only about 40 coins, with 11 wallet addresses holding it. In contrast, the circulations of WBTC and cbbtc exceed 116,000 coins and 97,000 coins respectively. Reserve data published by Circle on August 11th shows that there are approximately 40.02 cirbtc coins corresponding to 42.51 BTC coins in reserve. The underlying BTC is managed by Circle National Trust and is provided with on-chain verification through public addresses as well as Chainlink, proof, of, and reserve.
