According to CoinMeta, the BTC short position, which was on the brink of a margin call, was forced to take a stop loss of $38.5 million, with the latest forced liquidation price at $64,131.2. This whale had initially gone short on 1,792.6 units of BTC with a 40x leverage, resulting in a position value of about $114 million. The liquidation price was less than 0.7% below the current price. During the rebound of BTC last night after CPI, this whale triggered 12 stop-loss market orders, accumulating a recovery of 600 units of BTC with a nominal value of about $38.563 million, reducing its position by about 33.5% and incurring a loss of about $164,000. After reducing its position, this whale reopened a short position on 269.3 units of BTC for a transaction amount of about $17.097 million, with an average transaction price of about $63,476. As of press time, it is still short on 1,411.9 units of BTC with a 40x leverage, resulting in a position value of about $89.57 million. The average entry price was $63,899.4, with a floating profit of about $650,000 and a return rate of about 28.8%. The current liquidation price is $64,131.2, which is about 1.1% below the current price.
