According to CoinMeta, on August 13, the State Pipeline Network Group announced that the Lianyungang to Huai'an section of the Lianyungang to Yizheng crude oil pipeline project was successfully put into operation. This is the first crude oil pipeline with a capacity of tens of millions of tons to be put into operation at the beginning of China's 15th Five-Year Plan period, aimed at optimizing the energy supply structure in the central and eastern regions and improving the "national network" layout for oil and gas. After its operation, this pipeline will be connected to the already operational Rizhao-Yizheng pipeline, with a maximum daily transportation capacity of up to 70,000 tons. It will serve and support the refining and chemical enterprises along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province, effectively enhancing the multi-channel resource assurance capability for energy use by users along the Yangtze River, and playing an important role in optimizing the oil and gas pipeline network layout in the Yangtze River Delta region as well as in the unified allocation of imported crude oil resources.
