This version is internally referred to as mmc tui, and it runs on the MiniMax Code within the terminal. MiniMax Code already had a desktop version; with the addition of a terminal format this time, the product's usage method is now more in line with that of terminals such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, coding, and agent.
