According to CoinMeta, He Tao, the person in charge of MiniMax Code's research and development, announced that MiniMax Code is about to launch a terminal version, and the CLI version has begun internal testing, inviting users to test it with real projects. Test users can integrate it into their real code repositories, tackle complex engineering tasks, and provide direct feedback to the team regarding any issues they encounter. This version is internally referred to as mmc tui, and it runs on the MiniMax Code within the terminal. MiniMax Code already had a desktop version; with the addition of a terminal format this time, the product's usage method is now more in line with that of terminals such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, coding, and agent.
