According to CoinMeta, Goldman Sachs Group announced that it will acquire Neos Investments for up to $2.25 billion. This transaction will add three new Bitcoin and Ethereum funds, with a total managed assets of over $1.1 billion, to its asset management business. The cash and equity deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027 and requires regulatory approval. Among the 19 funds of Neos, there are the Neos Bitcoin High-Yield Fund (ETF), Enhanced Bitcoin High-Yield Fund (ETF), and Ethereum High-Yield Fund (ETF), which will provide Goldman Sachs with its existing crypto income product line. Goldman Sachs stated that as demand from investors for active ETF grows, the investment strategies of Neos complement its existing hedging, management, and revenue strategies highly.
