Figure (FIGR) Revenue Doubles, Blockchain Loan Market Trading Volumes Surge

According to CoinMeta, blockchain lending company Figure ( FIGR ) reported revenue of over $226 million in the second quarter, a year-on-year increase of 113%. Net income grew by 192% to reach $87 million, and adjusted EBITDA exceeded $119 million. The trading volume in the consumer lending market for Figure reached $4.3 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 132%. The company added 102 new lending partner institutions during the quarter, bringing the total to 489. CEO Michael Tannenbaum indicated that loan applications exceeded $1 billion per week in July. Figure expects the trading volume in the consumer lending market to be between $4.8 billion and $5.2 billion in the third quarter.
