The tokenization innovation exemption for SEC is further postponed, with details still not disclosed

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Eleanor Terrett, the tokenization innovation exemption for SEC has been further postponed, and it is expected that the relevant details will remain confidential. Sources revealed that one of the reasons for the postponement may be that the tokenization section has undergone extensive discussions among various parties under the Clear Act (Section 10505), and any innovative exemption measures that SEC might adopt could affect the compromises reached in that section. This indicates that the exemption may continue to be on hold until the path forward for the Clear Act becomes clearer. SEC still plans to hold a public meeting tomorrow at 10 a.m. to propose new rules and exemptions regarding fundraising transactions involving cryptocurrencies, that is, the regulation of crypto assets.
