LG Collaborates with NVIDIA to Launch a New Generation of Humanoid Robots in the First Quarter of Next Year

According to CoinMeta, LG Electronics stated on Friday that it plans to launch a new generation of humanoid robots with bipedal walking capabilities in the first quarter of 2027, based on NVIDIA's robotics platform. These robots will be equipped with NVIDIA Jetson Thor robot chip modules and will be developed using the NVIDIA Isaac Gr00t humanoid robot base model, as well as Holoscan, for, and Robotics robot safety systems. LG intends to integrate the technologies and capabilities of its major subsidiaries into this robot, including actuators provided by LG Electronics, sensors provided by LG Innotek, and batteries provided by LG Energy Solution. In addition, the two companies will also carry out comprehensive cooperation in three main areas: robots, AI factories, and mobile transportation.
