According to CoinMeta, a large investor sold off approximately $1.2 million in one night, missing out on profits that would have been about 6.5 times the amount already earned. On the 1st, this investor gradually liquidated 2,908.3 shares of SK Samsung ( SK Hynix ) and 2,323.9 shares of SanDisk ( SanDisk ), earning a total of about $186,000. If they had continued to hold, the profits from these two trades could have reached around $1.385 million. After liquidating, the stock prices of SK Samsung and SanDisk rose by about 18.0% and 22.3%, respectively. Since then, this investor has gone short on 2,524.2 shares of SanDisk, with a position valued at about $3.902 million and a floating profit of about $18,000, with a settlement price of $1,936.
