According to CoinMeta, Trezor announced that a data breach at ShipMonk resulted in the exposure of personal information of 13,689 customers, including home addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. Trezor warned the affected customers that the incident was due to unauthorized actors invading the system of ShipMonk. This incident impacted customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal, with the names, email addresses, phone numbers, and delivery addresses of 11,742 customers being exposed. Trezor also stated that although no fraud or physical attacks related to the ShipMonk breach have been confirmed yet, users should be vigilant against any emails, calls, or letters requesting urgent action. Trezor plans to launch an "anonymous delivery" option in the European Union in September 2026 to reduce the identification information associated with the purchase of hardware wallets.
