According to CoinMeta, as reported by Calcalist, the Israeli bank Bank Leumi announced a partnership with digital asset company Galaxy Digital. They plan to offer services through an application Leumi Trade to customers of Bank Leumi and its digital bank Pepper. Users will be able to directly buy, hold, and sell BTC, ETH, and SOL within the application. The related services are expected to be launched at the beginning of 2027, but still require approval from the Bank of Israel. Under the agreement, Galaxy Digital will provide blockchain and institutional-level hosting infrastructure to Bank Leumi, including its subsidiary Galaxy Custody (formerly GK8).
