Integration of p2p.org and Arkis to support pledged asset trading
2026-08-15 00:15:27
According to CoinMeta, p2p.org has announced the integration of its staking infrastructure with Arkis, allowing institutional clients to use staked Solana and Avalanche assets as collateral while continuing to receive protocol rewards. As per the announcement on August 13th, Arkis clients can now stake supported assets through p2p.org's validator infrastructure and use the results as collateral without having to unstake them first. This integration supports Solana and Avalanche; it is not specified when other DeFi networks will be added for p2p.org and Arkis. Staked assets and any transactions supported by them will be held within a single Arkis account. Major brokers calculate margins based on the overall risk of the account, rather than evaluating each position individually. As a result, clients can borrow supported staked positions just as they would borrow other collateral. This service is available through arbitrage trading via Arkis Alpha. p2p.org provides unmanaged staking and validator infrastructure, while Arkis handles credit, collateral, and portfolio risk management.
