According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cointelegraph, the UK Parliamentary Standards Commissioner has resumed an investigation into Reform Party leader Nigel Farage's acceptance of donations from the cryptocurrency industry. The investigation involves $6.7 million in donations from Christopher Harborne as well as expenses for employees and security funded by George Cottrell. The investigation was suspended in July due to Nigel Farage's resignation from his parliamentary position, but was resumed after he won a by-election on Clacton on Thursday. If the investigation finds that Nigel Farage has violated parliamentary regulations regarding conflicts of interest, he may face suspension from parliament and could trigger a new round of by-elections.
