A report from Maimai stated that hundreds of employees were laid off on the spot. The platform has been operating in the United States since March 2026 and holds a well-regulated US license. Its aim was to combine deposit, profit-making, trading, and consumption functions, as well as to connect fiat currency with cryptocurrencies.
