According to CoinMeta, there are still significant statistical differences regarding the scale of liquidations during the crypto market crash on October 10th of last year. Solana Research Institute states that approximately $18 billion in positions were liquidated within 14 hours, whereas Amberdata reports only $9.89 billion for six exchanges. Both sources recorded a peak of about $3.21 billion in liquidations per minute. Cryptoslate points out that the existing public information is insufficient to explain this discrepancy using a unified standard. At the same time, Binance, Hyperliquid, and AAVE have respectively exposed different risks such as collateral pricing issues, ADL delays in oracles, and bad debts, indicating that there is still a lack of unified disclosure standards for cross-platform liquidation and loss data.
