2026-08-16 20:02:36
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Crypto.News, the governance company Intersect has updated the Dijkstra upgrade roadmap, dividing it into two phases: The first phase is scheduled to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2026 and includes Linear Leios scalability solutions, nested transactions, a new serialization structure, and PlutusV4 changes. The second phase will activate a separate hard fork to update the Ouroboros Peras consensus protocol, with a target date of the second quarter of 2027. Linear Leios introduces a endorsement block mechanism, where the rights committee will certify additional transactions to increase throughput while maintaining the existing Praos security model. A proposal to add Dijkstra related parameters is planned to be submitted before September 11th.
