At the same time, the company disclosed for the first time a carbon neutrality action plan for its value chain up to 2035, marking a shift in its carbon neutrality efforts from focusing on the company itself to collaborating with the entire industry ecosystem. Chairman and CEO Zeng Yuqun stated that by the end of 2025, CATL's 20 battery factories will have obtained ISO 14068-1 certification, becoming zero-carbon factories with 100% use of zero-carbon electricity in their core operations.
