Analyst: Fireblocks appoints former SEC committee member Elad Roisman as Chief Regulatory and Policy Officer

According to CoinMeta, digital asset infrastructure company Fireblocks announced the appointment of former U.S. SEC acting chairman and commissioner Elad Roisman as the Chief Regulatory and Policy Officer, who will also serve as the General Legal Counsel for regulatory affairs, effective immediately. Roisman will be responsible for Fireblocks's global regulatory strategy, policy communication, and related legal affairs, and will act as the main liaison between the company and regulatory agencies and standard-setting organizations. Before joining Fireblocks, he was responsible for digital asset business at Cravath law firm, and has previously served as the Chief Legal Counsel for the U.S. Senate Banking Committee and the Chief Legal Counsel for NYSE Euronext.
