According to CoinMeta, as of August 14, U.S. spot Bitcoin products recorded a weekly net outflow of $385.2 million. Data shows that after a strong inflow at the beginning of August, there was a withdrawal of funds from several major funds. The Bitcoin price remained around $63,500, and demand for spot Bitcoin, as well as broader spot activity, remained weak. Although the weekly outflow followed an inflow of $865.3 million in the previous five trading days, there were outflows on four of the five trading days from August 10 to 14. On Monday, there was a redemption amount of $144.6 million, another loss of $61.1 million on Wednesday, a flow out of $131.1 million on Thursday, and an increase of $56.2 million on Friday. The Bitcoin fund with code Wise Origin led the decline during this week, with a net redemption amount of $153.1 million. The Bitcoin trust with code iShares lost $78.9 million over those same five trading days.
