According to CoinMeta, recent developments in the U.S.-Iran situation have added new variables to the market. The yield on 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds has risen by more than 4 basis points to 5.311%, reaching a new high since June 2007. The yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds has increased by over 2 basis points to 4.724%, and the yield on 2-year U.S. Treasury bonds has risen by more than 1 basis point to 4.182%. Since the 60-day deadline for a peace agreement between the United States and Iran is due on Monday, Iran has ruled out the possibility of extending this period, which has led to an increase in oil prices. Investors are awaiting the minutes of the Federal Reserve's meeting to be released later this week in order to gain further insight into the Fed's latest monetary policy decisions and future interest rate trends. At its meeting on July 29, the Federal Reserve decided to maintain interest rates in the range of 3.50% to 3.75% with a vote of 9 to 3, while three committee members who voted against recommended a 25-basis-point interest rate hike.
