2026-08-18 10:42:06
According to CoinMeta, Goldman Sachs' chief U.S. equity strategist Ben Snider pointed out that after excluding other revenues, the year-over-year growth in earnings per share for S&P 500 components was approximately 31% in the second quarter. Among these, AI infrastructure-related stocks contributed nearly half of this growth. Currently, only about 11% of S&P 500 companies have quantified the productivity improvements brought about by AI, and only about 2% of companies have linked AI with improved profitability. The market is mainly pricing in gains for sectors such as chips, memory, servers, cloud capital expenditures, and power equipment.
