According to CoinMeta, Metaplanet announced that it will invest 2,100 BTC and $2.5 million in cash to acquire approximately 95.7% of the outstanding shares of NASDAQ-listed company Super League for a total investment of around $134.6 million. After the transaction is completed, Super League will be renamed Superplanet. Metaplanet currently holds 43,000 BTC.
