According to CoinMeta, in the past 24 hours, the volume of transactions on the Shiba Inu ( SHIB ) chain surged by 14.86%, which coincides with the token price falling to $0.00000442. Data shows that the largest holders are taking this opportunity to withdraw billions of SHIB from the trading platform on a large scale. The distribution of SHIB is extremely concentrated; only 740 “whale” wallets control 94.57% of the circulating supply, while the combined balances of nearly a million small investors account for just 0.05%. The trail of these transactions points to internal addresses of Robinhood, Binance, and Crypto.com. The exchange’s net outflow chart for CryptoQuant indicates that on August 17th and 18th, there was a significant outflow of funds from the trading platform, and at the beginning of this week, the net balance decreased by about 46.7 billion SHIB. Large players are removing supply from the market by transferring billions of SHIB to cold wallets, which may lay the groundwork for breaking through the long-term sideways trend.
