Cypherpunk Acquires the World's Largest Zcash Mine for $33.33 Million

According to CoinMeta, Cypherpunk Technologies announced the acquisition of a mining farm consisting of 4.2 GSol /s of Zcash for $33.33 million, becoming the world's largest Zcash miner, accounting for approximately 18% of the total network computing power. The company stated that it initiated Cypherpunk Mining on August 18th and purchased equipment related to Winklevoss Capital as well as hosting agreements. The acquired mining farm is composed of Bitmain Z15 Pro machines and has been operating in facilities across the United States. Cypherpunk is expected to produce about 7,800 ZEC per month, and this business has already begun to generate positive cash flow.
