According to CoinMeta, Wu said that the Ethereum Foundation’s ecosystem support program announced its funding for the second quarter of 2026, allocating approximately $5.503 million to support areas such as zero-knowledge proofs, client diversity, formal verification, security, privacy, and open-source development tools. The funded projects include the development of consensus clients such as Lodestar, Lighthouse, Ream, and Gean; local multi-GPU proof infrastructure for Brevis, Succinct Labs, Silentsig, and Matter Labs; Ethereum client specification checking and vulnerability detection tools based on AI / LLM; as well as research and development projects such as Kohaku privacy wallets, Open Intents Framework, PIR privacy queries, and ZKEVM.
