According to CoinMeta, KakaoBank and Coinone have announced an extension of the real-name verification for deposit and withdrawal account service contract by one year, with the contract period extended until next August. Both parties decided to renew after completing on-site inspections and evaluating the suitability of their anti-money laundering (AML) systems. Coinone has also completed the change declaration process with the Financial Intelligence Analysis Agency (FIU). Since the two companies first established a real-name account cooperation in August 2022, this year marks the fourth consecutive year of their collaboration.
