VanEck: Bitcoin's decline is nearing its end, but whether it's a bullish trend remains to be verified
2026-08-19 16:16:43
According to CoinMeta, financial institution VanEck indicates that the downward cycle of Bitcoin (BTC) is coming to an end. The company noted that out of 12 capitulation signals, 8 have been triggered, and long-term holders have lost 356,000 BTC in the past month. Despite long-term holders selling BTC, the asset has remained relatively stable over the past month. This development may indicate that the downward trend is about to end, and we could be at the bottom. Many experts expect that the four-year market cycle of BTC will continue, with new highs expected to be reached in 2029.
