According to CoinMeta, Grayscale has submitted the fourth revision of its registration documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for grayscale, zcash, trust, and ZEC. The plan is to list this trust on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker ZCSH. Once listed, authorized participants will be able to subscribe for and redeem trust shares. As of June 30, 2026, the trust held approximately 2.3% of the circulating supply of ZEC, with a net asset value of about $155.2 million. A subsidiary of the digital currency group is in negotiations to subscribe for trust shares at around 200,000 ZEC, but no binding agreement has been reached yet.
