According to CoinMeta, as reported by A in an early issuance on in 2021, the CEO of Strive, Matt Cole, stated that the US dollar index is in a structural downward trend, and Bitcoin will face an excellent macroeconomic environment over the next 5 to 7 years. He pointed out that previous bull markets for Bitcoin have been accompanied by a weakening US dollar; for example, from 2017, the US dollar index fell from 103 to 88, and from 2020 to 2021 it dropped from 103 to 89. It is expected that during 2025 when Bitcoin reaches a new historical high, the US dollar will weaken from around 108. If the long-term trend of the US dollar continues to decline, Bitcoin will benefit from a macroeconomic environment that far exceeds past cycles.
