Geoff Kendrick: Bitcoin Expected to Reach $100,000 by the End of the Year After Breaking Through $65,500
2026-08-20 00:12:52
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cointelegraph, Standard Chartered Bank analyst Geoff Kendrick stated that the key technical level for Bitcoin is $65,500. If this level is broken through or a cycle low is confirmed, investors should position themselves with a target of $100,000 by the end of 2026. Kendrick pointed out that the U.S. Treasury Department announced an increase in the maximum amount for 10-30 year Treasury bond repurchase operations from $2 billion to at least $4 billion, and this plan will be implemented from September 9th to November 4th. Bitcoin benefits from government liquidity interventions, and its fixed supply characteristic gives it the ability to resist currency devaluation.
