The decentralized verification network that ends at LayerZero is migrating to Chainlink.

According to CoinMeta, Ethereum engineering firm Nethermind announced the end of operations for its decentralized verification network (DVN) on LayerZero, and will migrate cross-chain services to Chainlink. Nethermind will participate as a node operator and technology provider for Chainlink CCIP and data feeding, offering engineering tools, infrastructure, and integration support. This adjustment comes after the RSETH cross-chain bridge on Kelp DAO was attacked in April, resulting in a loss of approximately $292 million. Since then, several companies have switched from LayerZero to Chainlink. However, Nethermind has not indicated whether this migration was triggered by that incident, nor has it disclosed any specific technical issues regarding LayerZero or the completion time of the migration.
