According to CoinMeta, SoFi stock rose 6% to $18.66, Upstart stock rose 8% to $31.58, and Affirm stock rose 7% to $78.55. Due to the catalytic effect of the bond market, fintech stocks rebounded at midday on Wednesday. Nevertheless, SoFi and Upstart have still fallen by 33% so far this year. The U.S. Treasury Department stated that it will at least double its purchases of long-term government bonds, with the yield on 10-year Treasuries falling by 5 basis points to 4.65%, and the yield on 30-year Treasuries falling by 8 basis points to 5.2%. This indicates that the decline in long-term yields is beneficial for consumer lending institutions and companies with high growth rates.
