Artificial intelligence infrastructure construction promotes corporate bond financing; the issuance scale in September may reach $200 billion

According to CoinMeta, tech giants such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Meta, and Oracle have increased their bond financing efforts, with the total issuance of U.S. investment-grade corporate bonds expected to reach $2.1 trillion for the year. The market expects that the issuance of corporate bonds will reach $200 billion after Labor Day in September, and investors are concerned that AI debt expansion may affect the allocation of funds in the fixed-income market. Andrzej Skiba, the head of fixed income at a global asset management firm, stated that the current supply of related bonds is close to the limit that will not disrupt the market. Analysts point out that if AI revenue growth cannot cover the costs of data center and chip purchases, some capital expenditures may face the risk of insufficient returns.
