The People's Bank of China will issue 30 billion yuan in central bank bills

According to CoinMeta, the People's Bank of China announced that on August 25th (Tuesday), it will issue the seventh and eighth series of central bank bills for 2026 through the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Centralised Clearing System for Debt Instruments (CMU) bond bidding platform. The seventh series of bills will have a maturity of 3 months (91 days), with an issuance volume of 15 billion yuan, while the eighth series will have a maturity of 1 year, also with an issuance volume of 15 billion yuan, and interest will be paid semi-annually.
