Anthropic IPO 2026: Disclosure of Important Details
2026-08-21 17:36:07
According to CoinMeta, Anthropic is accelerating its plans to conduct a initial public offering (IPO) in the United States in 2026, which could challenge the record for the largest new share issuance set by SpaceX. The company is expected to submit its application before the end of August, with a potential market debut in October, targeting a valuation of $2 trillion. This issuance will also serve as an important test of investor demand ahead of the mid-term elections in the U.S. The rapid growth of Anthropic has boosted investors' confidence in the company; preliminary data shows that its revenue in the second quarter exceeded $11.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1361%. As of the end of July, annualized revenue reached $65 billion. However, profitability remains a major concern, as Anthropic recorded a net loss of $42 billion in 2025. The company has signed an agreement with SpaceX to obtain tens of billions of dollars in computing resources over the next three years. If Anthropic achieves its target valuation and raises more than SpaceX in funds, it could reshape the IPO record in 2026 and also represent a significant test of investors' confidence in the AI hype.
