According to CoinMeta, Vitalik Buterin published an article titled “obfuscation (Part 3): local mixing”, which introduces a “local mixing” technique that does not rely on elliptic curves, RSA or lattice cryptography. This technique draws on the design experience of symmetric cryptography and hash functions to eliminate information leakage by disrupting, reconstructing, and hiding circuit structures. Buterin indicates that local mixing technology is still in its early stages and faces challenges from random attacks and linear analysis, but its goal is to develop more efficient indistinguishable obfuscation IO schemes and to advance the development of quantum-resistant public key encryption.
