According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Central Command reported to CNBC this week that since May, the U.S. military has assisted approximately 1,300 merchant ships in passing through the Strait of Hormuz, transporting over 660 million barrels of crude oil. According to the military, at least 160 million barrels of oil have passed through the strait in the past three weeks, with an average of over 7 million barrels per day. Although before the war, the daily oil export volume through the Strait of Hormuz was about 20 million barrels, U.S. military data shows that despite threats and attacks from Iran, a large amount of oil is still passing through the strait.
