Kalshi Traders expect Bitcoin prices to be close to current levels by the end of the year

According to CoinMeta, Kalshi traders believe that the price of Bitcoin may approach its current level by the end of the year. Over the past week, Bitcoin has risen by more than 20%, reaching its highest point since May. Traders expect that by the end of 2026, the price of Bitcoin will be around $75,000, based on the average value of contracts on the platform. The Kalshi contract requires traders to place a "yes" or "no" bet on whether Bitcoin will trade within different $5,000 ranges at midnight on January 1, 2027. This week's rise in Bitcoin has been driven by two key factors: intervention from the U.S. Treasury Department, which alleviated the selling pressure in the bond market and thus reduced the stress on risk assets; and an event held by the White House, where President Trump, along with executives from the crypto industry and regulatory authorities, pushed for Congress to approve a bill proposing a clearer market structure. As Bitcoin's price has risen, traders' expectations for the end-of-year price have improved; previously, they thought the price would be around $66,000 by the end of the year. The current trading price of Bitcoin is over $77,000.
