AVAX One: Quarterly Loss of $35.1 Million Masks Pledge and Financial Growth
2026-08-22 03:12:17
According to CoinMeta, AVAX One CEO Pete Wylie stated that the company's loss of $35.1 million in the second quarter was mainly due to non-cash expenses amounting to $33 million, but the staking business helped to increase revenue to $2.8 million. He pointed out that the reported loss did not reflect the company's operational performance in staking, mining, and digital infrastructure services. Excluding non-cash items, AVAX One's adjusted net loss was $2.2 million. Wylie emphasized that despite the current token price being lower than expected, staking rewards continue to accumulate. In the company's financial report on August 13, it was shown that they held 14.09 million AVAX tokens, with about 95% of the holdings staked, resulting in an annualized yield of approximately 5.4%.
