According to CoinMeta, as reported by bitcoin.com and news, the crypto analysis platform Sandmark discovered on August 19 that Binance still allows users from Austria, France, Germany, Spain, and Belgium to register and complete identity verification, and that these accounts can use services such as receiving cryptocurrency deposits. The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) required unauthorized institutions to stop opening accounts for EU customers and marketing their services by July 1. Binance stated that it is still working towards obtaining the necessary licenses and has taken measures to ensure that its products and services comply with applicable legal regulatory frameworks.
