According to CoinMeta, Kraken may be testing a compliant HIP-3 decentralized exchange (DEX) on Hyperliquid. An analyst Shaunda Devens reported that a deployer named “Kraken HIP -3 Test DEX” activated a permission system called Star Gating on the test network of Hyperliquid and added 10 wallets to its approved user list, testing three compliance controls. This move has raised the possibility of Kraken becoming the first compliant HIP-3 deployer. Hyperliquid is also continuously adding features to the test network to support compliant use.
