According to CoinMeta, and as reported by The New York Times, Anthropic recently indicated in discussions with potential investors that the San Francisco-based company may seek to raise over $100 billion in its initial public offering (IPO). This offering could value the company at $2 trillion. If successful, Anthropic, which was founded just five years ago, would set a new record for the largest IPO in history, surpassing the record set by Elon Musk's SpaceX in June of this year – which was valued at $1.77 trillion at the time of its listing and raised $85.7 billion. The company was valued at $900 billion in a private financing round this year and submitted its listing application in June.
