According to CoinMeta, DeepSeek has announced that its new price V4 API will officially take effect on August 17th. The peak output price will increase by a factor of 4.5, with the cached input price rising from 3 yuan to 9 yuan and the output price rising from 6 yuan to 27 yuan. The off-peak price is half of the peak price; for an input of 4.5 yuan, the output is 13.5 yuan, and for an input of 1.5 yuan, the output is 4.5 yuan. The peak hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Beijing time, while other times are charged at the off-peak price. In addition, DeepSeek will also eliminate the weekend price difference starting from August 23rd, charging a uniform low-peak price throughout Saturday and Sunday to help balance the platform's computing power load.
