According to CoinMeta, the board of directors of Bank of America (Bank of America) approved in July an increase in the quarterly dividend from $0.28 per share to $0.32 per share, a 14% increase. This new dividend rate will be paid to shareholders as of September 4 on September 25, pushing the annual dividend to $1.28 per share. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway currently holds 483,394,015 shares of Bank of America, and based on the new dividend rate, it is estimated that Berkshire Hathaway will earn approximately $619 million annually from Bank of America's dividends. Bank of America has paid dividends every year since 1991, and the increase in July continues this stable dividend growth.
