According to CoinMeta, renowned investor Michael Burry stated that Alibaba’s valuation has become too high. He recently sold all his holdings and has shifted his investments to JD.com. He originally planned to buy back most of his Alibaba shares in one or two months, but now that plan has changed; he will not be interested again unless Alibaba’s stock price drops by half. Regarding Alibaba’s recent announcement of a rights issue worth approximately HK$80 billion for artificial intelligence investment, Burry frankly stated that he cannot support this rights issue.
