According to CoinMeta, Upbit has announced that it will launch the trading pair of LIT tokens of Lighter on the Korean won market at 1:00 PM on August 24, 2026 ( KST ). Users will be able to purchase LIT tokens directly in Korean won. LIT has already been launched on the Bitcoin market of Upbit. As a reference price for the new market's opening restrictions, the closing price of BTC in the LIT market was 0.00004500 BTC, which is approximately 4803 Korean won. The exchange warns that if sufficient liquidity cannot be ensured after the deposit and withdrawal services are opened, transactions may be postponed. After the trading of LIT / KRW begins, Upbit will block buy orders for about five minutes, and sell orders below 10% of the previous closing price will also be restricted. Only limit orders will be accepted in the first two hours; market orders and other types of conditional orders will become available after the initial restrictions are lifted.
